We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
KS3 Science Teacher

The successful candidate will have:
• A good knowledge of the new KS3 Cambridge International Science Framework which is currently in place and be flexible and ready to implement the any changes in the Framework in the forthcoming year.
• A firm grasp on how to assess scientific enquiry skills as well as theory.
• Excellent communication skills to lead by example, as well as collaborate with Key Stage leaders, Senior management and parents.
• Ability to research new initiatives and implement them whilst evaluating current processes.
• Ability to confidently utilize AFL strategies and a variety of tasks to enhance learning.
• Be proficient in ICT.
• Demonstration of leadership qualities and the willingness to deliver in-school inset.

Knowledge of how to mix chemicals for experiments is desirable.
Leadership position available for the right candidate.
 

Primary Class teacher + Literacy Co-ordinator

The successful candidate will have:
• Have excellent command of the English language, teaching experience and a complete knowledge of The National Curriculum for England.
• Be able to implement schemes and initiatives and organise whole school competitions and events
• Be able to monitor the attainment and progress of the children across the school and contribute towards subject and whole school action plans.
• Be able to raise standards of attainment, progress, teaching and learning wherever possible.
• Ensure that the Teaching and Learning strategy meets the aims of the School, curriculum and the needs of all students and ensuring that innovative and appropriate approaches to learning are made available to students with specific learning needs.
• Outstanding people management skills.
• Be able to actively collaborate with other Key Stage leaders, Senior management and parents.
• Be proactive in their role to ensure deadlines are met and maintain a cohesive approach to Literacy.
• Be a confident leader and is expected to be a motivator and a role model within the school, leading CPD and staff meetings.
• Have the ability to research new initiatives and implement them whilst evaluating current processes.
• Have the ability to confidently utilise APP and AFL strategies and a variety of tasks to enhance learning.
• Be proficient in ICT.

 Essential Requirements
A relevant teaching qualification: minimum of a BEd or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS.
A minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience preferred but not essential for all teaching positions.
Previous Leadership experience desirable for candidates applying for Leadership positions.
A good working knowledge of the latest UK practice from either the UK or a British Curriculum school overseas.
 
Knowledge Skills Behaviors
The teacher should have:
• a clear and motivated sense of direction and purpose
• a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum of England & Wales
• an understanding of monitoring, evaluation and assessment and the role it plays in raising student standards
The teacher should be able to:
• manage the classroom effectively taking into account the individual needs of the students and other staff members within the class
• plan for the individual whilst adhering to the guidance outlined in the National Curriculum of England & Wales curriculum
• effectively monitor and evaluate using appropriate data to provide quantative and qualitative feedback in order to target set and improve individual student performance
The teacher should:
• have a productive and organised working environment that is enhanced by clear communication with both staff and students to ensure that the learning experience of each student is extended
• deliver effective planning in a stimulating manner to ensure that the individual needs of the student are met
• use data to inform planning thus ensuring that the student has the opportunity to reach his/her potential
